We offer these ASMT A269 / ASME SA269 stainless steel SMLS Pipes at competitive prices in the market.
Email us Whatsapp us Call usASTM A269 Seamless Stainless Steel Tubing is used for low temperature and high temperature services. These pipes could be made from austenitic steel types under electric resistant weld, electric fusion weld or seamless cold drawing mechanisms. The SA269 Tubing can also have different finishes and can be heat treated. The SA 269 Tp 316 is more corrosion resistant than the 304 material types and it is used in applications with high pressures and high temperatures as well as low pressure and low temperatures. Therefore the SA 269 Tp 304 and the ASTM A269 Tp316l material grade pipes have different schedules. These schedules correspond to different wall thickness corresponding to different nominal diameters.

Key Properties |
Common Uses |
|---|---|---|---|
|
TP304 |
Austenitic SS |
Good general corrosion resistance, excellent formability, suitable for a wide range of temperatures. |
General industrial use, food processing, architectural fittings. |
|
TP304L |
Austenitic SS (Low Carbon) |
Lower carbon content for enhanced intergranular corrosion resistance after welding (prevents carbide precipitation). |
Heavy gauge welded components where post-weld annealing is impractical. |
|
TP316 |
Austenitic SS |
Superior corrosion resistance (especially pitting) due to molybdenum content, high tensile strength. |
Marine environments, hydraulic systems, chemical processing, heat exchangers. |
|
TP316L |
Austenitic SS (Low Carbon) |
Combines 316's corrosion resistance with 304L's immunity to sensitization from welding. |
Highly corrosive environments, medical equipment, laboratory benches. |
