A 310 Stainless Steel Tube is very robust and stronger than a pipe and can be telescoped easily. The robust tubes are used in smaller diameters and provide strength to the tubes across cryogenic temperatures. The 310 SS Tubing can be readily machined and welded with matching electrodes and filler material. This tubing is solution annealed or heat treated at temperatures in the range of 1040 to 1065 degrees C, followed by quenching. The tubes have a minimum tensile strength of 520mpa with a minimum proof stress of 205mpa. They can be easily elongated by 40% in the system. ASME SA213 Type 310S Tube is commonly seen in pressurized vessel grades. Designed with a hardness of 225 HV max, these tubes can work well in these harsh conditions.
