EN standard pipes are technical specifications created by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), ensuring uniform product quality and safety across European countries. The specific standards which are for pressure-resistant stainless steel pipes:
- EN 10216-5 covers seamless stainless steel tubes for pressure and corrosion-resistant applications. These pipes are suitable for extreme conditions with high temperatures and pressure, such as in the oil and gas or chemical processing industries.
- EN 10217-7 covers welded circular austenitic stainless steel tubes, also intended for pressure applications. They are highly durable, reliable, and corrosion-resistant.
